Toronto Forfeits MLQ Central Conference Championship
The Toronto Raiders have elected to forfeit the 2026 MLQ Central Conference Championship.
The scheduled matchup between the Raiders and Houston Legends at the 2026 MLQ Central Conference Championship will be recorded as a 2-0 (65-0, 65-0) win if the Houston Legends do not forfeit the event. Should the Legends attend, they will automatically qualify for the MLQ Championship and advance to day two of the Central Conference Championship.
This forfeit serves as the latest point in a series of forfeits over the past two seasons, with Toronto failing to attend ~57% of their games over the course of 2025 and 2026. This inconsistent attendance has placed significant strain on volunteers, MLQ staff and opposing franchises who have consistently been given last minute changes to their schedules while being deprived of their deserved gameplay opportunities. For these reasons, MLQ has released all Raiders staff and will use the offseason to reevaluate the inclusion of the franchise in official league activity.
